I need to franchise one in Texas been coming to these restaurants since the 90s they opened one in Rosarito where I grew up and now Everytime I come to Chula Vista it's a must stop thank you guys never close please

Cochinita is some of the best Teriyaki in the region, originally coming to us from about 50km south straight out of Ensenada, this is their flagship and only US location and if you’re in San Diego it’s a must; bold of me to say, but in my heart it’s one of the city’s speciality dishes. I’ve been coming here since I was a child, and we’ve always been faithful to the chicken Minoru or the chicken Nomuraki if you want a more flavorful dish. It’s basically just a bed of rice with grilled chicken on top, but the Nomuraki goes a step above and adds seasoning, green onion, and an accompanying side of a picked cucmever salad. It’s not intensely pickley though, and it’s a very refreshing side to enjoy with the chicken. Everything is always fresh and steaming hot as they cook the chicken thighs right in front of you the only thing I’ve been instructed by my mom to do is to ask for the chicken without any skin. It does cost a little extra but I’ve never not ordered it like that and I’ll continue to do so. Also be sure to let them know if you want any condiments, they have pickled red onions, pickled jalapeños, and a signature red salsa. But truly I recommend anything this place has to offer and it’s as local and authentically Chula Vista as it gets. I really love this place and I’m glad it’s survived the test of time which is why I hope y’all can give them a chance and see if you just found out one of your newest favorite restaurants. Sheeeeeshhh! This place has amazing, simple and delicious plates at a reasonable price. You really can’t go wrong if you’re hungry and want great food. Give them a try, before the word gets out and they get super busy. I believe they recently reopened up again so I was a happy a local business was brought back to life. Enjoy!

This place is such a gem! Huge portions, fresh cucumber salad, and delicious chicken and beef!! The rice is always perfect too! Oh! The pickled carrots and hot sauce are great too! Same savory flavors since I was a kid! It tastes just like the Tijuana location! Love that it’s close by in Chula Vista! 30 years in business and I’ll keep on supporting!!

2nd time my order is worng... first time they put salad on an order I asked without salad (because I don't like the taste of it)... now they give me a Yoshima instead of Nomuraki. There is a difference in Price and taste... I called but it's closed... I will call back and demand a Free item now.. not good to get home and open up the wrong item... first time I let it go as it is a good place.. but a 2nd one is not fair

Casanova catered our wedding and they did a wonderful job. After meeting Casanova and loving their food and style, we decided they were the perfect fit. Hector was easy to talk to about planning, and very flexible. We had 4 types of tacos for our guests to choose from, and even just 2 Tacos were very filling. We also had ceviche, chips and salsa to complete the meal. Their prices were very reasonable, and there were no hidden fees for anything. There were over 100 guests at the wedding, and they handled it well. Guests were served on time and promptly, and the food setup was clean and professional. Everyone seemed to love the food, as did we. We would definitely recommend them for your event!
